BRAID MY HAIR

I am currently being a very boring human being which is a little embarrassing but I want to be honest with you guys. I may also be a little tipsy off of one cider which is ALSO embarrassing. I love the short hair and all because I know it will be beautiful... BUT I find myself watching my girlfriend comb through her beautiful longer hair and I get jealous. I obviously want the instant gratification of natural hair but I know I need to take it slow. I have followed so many hair pages and beauty pages in the last few days and am happy with those but again I am jealous of their long locks and the fact that I haven't found a whole lot of pages with short natural hair. So, with that being said I am still wearing my straight back braids which is not terrible but I am struggling with the beautiful feeling. I find myself needing makeup to feel girly. That is okay only because I love makeup, but I am waiting for some inspiration to really find MY beauty. I find this very helpful. This being writing. Even if no one reads it.. I enjoy doing it. Just to update you guys I have only found a few ideas on homemade headbands that don't require sewing.. so I apparently need to learn a new trade. I know what I want my next hair journey to be but the struggle to actually get it done has begun. I want faux locs more than anything.. but it could be a while before that happens. For now I am content with my head wrap, and have gotten quite a lot of compliments which boosts my confidence. I am currently only applying eyebrow makeup and mascara and sometimes eyeliner, and still feel beautiful and my next step is doing some meditation and having some me time to help guide me a little better. I do hope I find all of MY beauty soon, I wonder how others have found theirs. Ask yourself today.. What does YOUR beauty mean to you?
